Hey Guys, I know this is a long shot at this time, but do you think that we can make the playoffs this year. We're only 4 games back of Philadelphia right now and we are starting to make a little noise beating Minnesota the other day. What do you think? I think we have a good shot. In fact, I even think we can do better than 8 spot. Besides, we're on a rise now and Philadelphia is on a fall. Gimme your thoughts. Enthusiasm in Markham
Knock on wood, mann. Seriously though, I love how we've played recently, but we've had a really easy schedule so far (2nd easiest in the L). Rather than focus on getting into the playoffs, I've been more interested in watching the players and coach improve, and the team develop some real chemistry on the court.

Yes, the Raptors have to take it one game at a time and not look past any team and they should not let go if their intensity during games since they don't have enough talent yet to do it. Hopefully next season they won't start out horribly or have a horrible stretches like the past years.
I don't mind having high hopes, I don't really mind getting my hopes turned down, so yes, I do believe the Raps will make the playoffs. I think that this team's chemistry is at an all-time high and if the organization can somehow add a few more key pieces and keep the players they have now... (james, peterson, charlie, bosh)...then maybe we'll have a good contending core that's the same each season. ie. detroit, san antonio.
Hey Guys, I hear y'all, but we always wait for things to happen. Think of it, you will never ever be any good and see anything build because of trades that occur more frequently than not. I see a nice and big front court with a defense that's hard to penetrate right now and it's good to see that we finally have leadership (Davis) right there. It's hard to shoot on us guys, we're big on the court now.
I don't know where to start, it's unpredictable so i don't want to say anything before stuff happens for example my worst nightmare: CB4 injured. Now that's scary.
i think it is possible but liek everyone is saying don't expect it to happen. if we even make 8th i doubt we get past round 1. one more thing GO BIG SMOOTH lol. Represent Markham!
lol nets, didier drogba! he's taking ivory coast all the way to the world cup finals...just kidding. he's so funny to watch
it would be a good thing is toronto makes it to playoffs but lets say they are 7th or 8th seed...what does that mean to you? Heat? Pistons? no way they can get past there...in addition, toronto's draft positoin will be lower if they make playoffs i rather them play hard, get to know each other well...improve sets of plays etc....and NOT make playoffs it's good for the team's future rather than just have one fullhouse playoff home game

Look at Miami, with Dwayne Wade in his second year making the playoffs, Miami attracted one really big player. With Toronto and their financial position in the off-season, if we made the playoffs this year, with a team that was a possiblity to win the NBA draft, it will attract more free agents that seee potential with this team. We don't need to get any younger, we don't NEED this year's pick. We need to build around Bosh with some veteran guys who could help take us over the hump and allow us to be in the playoffs every year over the next decade. Players want to play for winners and they want to be difference makers. If we do well this season, especially how we started the season, players will take notice. Free agents will begin thinking about Toronto as potential destinations simply because it isn't hard to see that we are ALMOST there as far as being a very competitive team.

I hope to god not. I'd rather get a top 5 draft choice and draft to help in the future...............PLEASE DON'T MAKE THE PLAYOFFS
Hell no.....thats what I would have said a month ago. In some weird way, I think it is possible for Toronto to make it. It isn't likely but it isn't impossible either.
