<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">ST. JOHN'S, Nfld. -- Is Mo Pete soon to be No Pete in Toronto? Raptors forward/guard Morris Peterson again is rumoured to be on his way out of Toronto. The fourth-year Raptor has been the subject of trade rumours in the past few months and there was another yesterday. According to published reports in New York, Knicks president Scott Layden has asked about acquiring Peterson for veteran centre/ power forward Othella Harrington, who averaged 8.5 points and 6.4 rebounds per game last season with the Knicks. At 6-foot-9 and 235 pounds, Harrington would give the Raptors something they lack -- size. The Raptors decided not to offer Peterson, 26, a contract extension earlier this month and he will become a restricted free agent next July 1, whether he finishes this season or not. GM Glen Grunwald would only say yesterday that a trade for Peterson is not imminent, although there are reports that they team would like to move the Michigan native. Peterson said yesterday that the rumours do not bother him, but he would like to remain a Raptor. </div> http://www.canoe.ca/NewsStand/TorontoSun/S.../24/234986.html

They must be pretty confident VC is gonna hold up and Bosh is going to produce straight away, otherwise giving away Mo-Pete like that is a strange move.
