    A LITTLE HELP PLEASE
This rating includes everything except for how good the player is in stopping shots from scoring by disrupting the shooter without fouling.

Would Raptors fans please help me out and put these players into the right rank order for how good they are at stopping shots from going in? Do not consider blocks or steals, these are already counted. I am just looking for how they rank in being in the right position for defending shots, and for defending in such a way that the shot does miss.

With some help, I will soon be able to do the Raptors RPRs fully adjusted for defending.

Carlos Delfino's signed with a Russian team and I don't see Brezec re-signing with us, but I'll rank them regardless. If you want me to list last year's roster according to pure defensive positioning, I'd say it'd be something like this:

    Anthony Parker
    Carlos Delfino
    Jamario Moon
    Kris Humphries
    Andrea Bargnani
    Chris Bosh
    Joey Graham
    Jason Kapono
    Jose Calderon

(I didn't rank O'Neal, because he wasn't with the Raptors last season and I barely saw him play)

People might find that ranking surprising, but I think it reflects how poor a defensive team the Raptors were last year. Anthony Parker, Delfino, and Jamario were the only solid-good individual defenders on our team (and Jamario, mainly because of his ability to recover after being beaten and still affect a player's shot). Bargnani over Bosh might be really shocking, but I honestly do believe that Andrea is a better positional defender than Bosh. He fronts his man earlier and his length makes it more difficult to shoot over him. Of course I don't think that means he's a better overall defender, because he still lacks Bosh's strength and pure athleticism (it leads to people overlooking Chris' defensive deficiencies, IMO). Joey barely played last year, so I just kind of tossed him towards the end. He ranks above Jose and Kap because he couldn't possible be as bad as those two.
