Rashard Lewis: "I want to be a Sonic" <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Rashard Lewis appeared out of sorts on Tuesday night, but says he wants to remain in Seattle. "I don't even have a practice uniform in my locker," the Sonics forward said. "I feel alone. "I'm here to support the guys, be that captain," Lewis said. "I want to let them know I'm still part of the team. It's not a season-ending injury, I just want to be ready when I get back." He doesn't think missing six to eight weeks will affect his decision whether to void the last two years of his contract and become a free agent. "I'm pretty confident I will be a Sonic for a while. I want to be a Sonic," Lewis said.</div> Source Cross him off the list?
ahh i thought he said that last year too till they had the team up for sale.. I think its too soon to tell
no, he's only saying that so that everyone can think that he still wants to be there...t-mac used to say i want to finish my career here in orlando, he also said that when he was traded to houston...i doubt that it'll happen

If someone has to vocally commit to a team, they likely won't do it contractually.
I've read alot of Rashards Comments in the past and it doesn't really seem to me like he really wants to be there.........Esspecially since they don't really know what they are doing with the team right now....... they look really disorganized on and off the court.
