I was wondering what some of you think about the team I drafted two nights ago...

Andre Miller
Michael Redd
Gilbert Arenas
Gerald Wallace
Kevin Garnett
Juwan Howard
Zydrunas Ilgauskas
Chris Kaman
Larry Hughes
Josh Howard
Jim Jackson
Alonzo Mourning
Voshon Lenard

The players are good. You'll be great in steals, points, assists and rebounds, and probably have good turnover rates too. Blocks and threes may be questionable, though; it really depends on your league.

For blocks: Ilguaskas and Garnett are at the top of the block categories, and Kaman will be above average; you have about 500 there. If you get 650+ blocks, you're generally near the top of the league.

For threes: Redd and Arenas are sure things for 150 threes each, but you'll have to get the most out of Hughes, Jackson, and Lenard. I find about 500 threes will usually get you above the hump of the league average, so you won't be too down.

I am really hoping for a lot of stats from Gerald Wallace. Did anyone catch the Bobcats first victory? Gerald Wallace had 9 points, 9 rebounds, 8 steals, and 3 blocks. Now those are some stats to brag about.

Yes, I did have the first pikc for the first time in three years of playing! And I messed up Gerald Wallace's stats.

6 assists and only one block.

Blocks are always hard to come by, since guards (and even forwards) rarely block more than 40 a season. I think Wallace will have great scoring, good rebounding numbers, and ok assists and steals, (I mean, even Blue Edwards scored 12-5-3-1.5 for the expansion) but I don't think he's much of a threat from 3. I don't expect him to get many blocks though.

It's an excellent squad.

The obvious weakness is at the 5, but that's the case for many teams.

I'd look to package up Larry Hughes and Josh Howard and try to find someone willing to trade you a centre, be it an Eddy Curry, Emeka Okafor or even a Theo Ratliff.

You have KG. He's the most consistent. I had him two years in a row. Not this year however. You got a good looking roster. now go after the sleepers! they win leagues! not the stars

Offense=You've got Garnett all-around, Redd, Miller and Arenas on the outside, and Gerald Wallace with his awesome dunks on the inside. You've 3 point specialist Voshon Lenard, inside scorer and giant Zydrunas Ilgauskas, along with a couple of other scorers(namely Jim Jackson, Larry Hughes, and Josh Howard)

Grade=A

Defense=Lots of defense on your team, too. Garnett, Ilgauskas, Kaman, and Mourning are all great blockers, while they'll get help on defense from Hughes, Jackson, Wallace, Redd, Arenas, and Miller, who can all consistently steal the ball. Great job assembling a defensive powerhouse.

Grade=A

Bench=Where can I begin....I mean god, you've got starters on your bench!!!Hughes, Kaman, both Howards, and Mourning are all potential starters. So there's nothing to say but "wow".

Grade=A

Great job, Man.

You got two of the best fantasy players in KG (The Best) and Arenas (health is the key)...As zhone says your blocks could be a question mark, but you should finish high overall in your league. I just wouldn't have taken Alonzo Mourning.

my sentiments exactly, are there 5 peeps in your league? i really think u need at least 8 teams because the four initial rounds are no-brainers, typically variance in these early selections is attributed to preference in position. so, for instance i like picking centers, pf's and point guards in the early rounds. however, the later rounds is where your knowledge of the league comes in, its where u pick up the g. wallace, d.mason, a.harrington, rafer altson and other obscure stat stuffers.

We have 8 ppl in our league dont we S. Livingston? DAMN man you need to waive some players BTW lol. You have to waive a certain amount before the 5th of November otherwise they waive players you dont want them to lol.

I actually find it more fun when there are more people. I am in a league with 20, and it is really evenly matched. The first maybe two picks, you have some stars. But then the later picks you actually have to think about what your team needs and what not. I got Dirk in the first round, and Amare in the second. And past that, you have to draft smart.

As was said, both your guys' teams are outrageously good. If I were you guys, depending on how many you have to waive, in order:
S.Livingston's team:
1. Butler
2. Livingston (yeah you have to drop your namesake)
3. Prince
4. Alston
