Dont find it necessary to single our players from a team and have to rank them on their proformance. Everyone's #1 on this team

I like Josh Howard a lot, but he needs more court vision.1. Dirk Nowitzki (Can it get more obvious? Lol. When Dirk was in his home-opener, Avery gave him a 1 out of 10 on posting-up, 1 being bad, and 10 being Tim Duncan. Avery said Dirk needed to get to a 5. But now, Avery calls him an EIGHT!)2. Jason Terry (Clutch player, can penetrate and score on the run)3. Josh Howard (Great defense, great dive-cutting)4. Jerry Stackhouse (Upgrade of Michael Finley)5. Erick Dampier (Playing a lot harder than he ever did with Nellie)6. Darrell Armstrong (Ability to change the game's tempo, most inspiring player, energetic, hustling, fan favorite, gives it all he has, even at age 37)7.Marquis Daniels (Can get anywhere he wants to on the court, but injuries have slowed him down)8. DeSagana Diop (Lost 50 pounds in the off-season, only tries to make his name on the defensive side of the ball. Doesn't care about his touches on offense)9. Adrian Griffin (Went from a nobody to a great rebounder, good defender, and efficient offensive player. Knows how and when to hustle for the loose ball)10. Devin Harris (Definitely a good player, but his injuries have been so common that you could still call him a rookie in the league) 11. Keith Van Horn (Fine, he might be soft, but he's very underrated for his driving to the hoop, and he's instant offense)12. Josh Powell (Contributing with rebounds, hustle, and occasional scoring when Dirk is out of the game)13. DJ Mbenga (Has suddenly become a fan favorite, plays well, plays hard, just needs some more experience)14. Rawle Marshall (His first start this season was very promising, but like most rookies, you don't know what you're going to get)15. Doug Christie (I thought he could help us, and his defense was just okay, but 2 PPG really showed his limitation with injuries)16. Pavel Podkolzin (Has been injured, hasn't played too much, just not what he aimed for him to be by this time)
There is no way in hell that Armstrong is #6 on the team. i can name 5 players better than him that are below him on your list.

Dude, Marquis missed a third of the season, Van Horn a third, Stackhouse a third, Josh Howard a third, and even DEVIN HARRIS a third!! Armstrong is a guy that doesn't let you down, and he led us back to a LOT of wins.

Daniels has even played in 1 more game than Armstrong. I know he didnt miss any due to injury, but still this has to show you something.

All it takes is one game for you to gain favor for one player. Armstrong should not be 6, Harris should not be 10, and Terry should not be in front of Howard.
The only problem with Waqas list is Devin should be higher, 4th or 5th above Stack, below Dirk, JT, and Howard. DA lower, probably where he ranked Harris at 10 is fine. And no reason to list Christie, he's not even on the team anymore. But I don't get why mavsfan highlighted JT, and Howard. I know why he highlighted Stack. But JT and Howard are fine at 2/3.After saying all that, I agree with Lazy on this, no need to rank your team.
Terry is not even close to Howard. The only thing Terry does is score. Howard is an all around player.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Terry is not even close to Howard. The only thing Terry does is score. Also, who cares when he just ranked them over one another, it's not like he put them 3-4 apart. Overall, this is just dumb though, why are you ranking your own team, it's about beating other teams and how you rank against them, not yourself. Were not inside CB4's head.
Yeah it's pretty worthless to do this.Everyone on the team should be good if your a fan of the Mavs. I mean its' not like we have a bad team.
You can't say a bad thing on any of the mavs players around here. Even if they deserve it. And yes I do have favorites since some of them give me reasons not to like them.
See that's your problem, instead of looking at the good of the team as a whole, you want to single out players, and call out the ones you "consider" bad, while propping up those you "consider" good.It doesn't work that way man.If we had a player that hurt us week after week, game after game, then maybe we'd agree with you. But everyone brings something different to the team, and all are as valuable in their own way. If you kept talking about how Daniels was better than Powell or Marshall, we wouldn't have these long drawn out discussions. But you keep saying Daniels and Harris are way more important then Stackhouse and Griff, and that's simply not true. If anything, they are just as important as each other, whith Harris only being more important in the SA series. Why can't you just sit back, relax, and enjoy this great team we have here without griping cause noone agrees with you.
This team was doing great before Stackhouse. Even though Christie was a bust. The best we've been all year was when Daniels was starting right after Christie decided to retire. The mavs blew out the Pistons by like 40 and looked unbeatable. Daniels confidence was at a all time high. Than Stackhouse comes back and Daniels gets an injury. Daniels does the same things as Griffin except Daniels is more of a scoring threat. Griffin would be as much of a non factor as Daniels if Marshall was starting at SF. I just don't think Daniels got the same opportunities as Griffin. STackhouse definitely isn't needed on this team if Griffin, Daniels, and Harris are healthy.
