For the first time in over a decade, the Rattlers find themselves at 2-0 to start the regular season. The Rattlers overcame two early turnovers and a shaky first half to eventually pull away and double-up the Milwaukee Mustangs 62 - 31, Saturday night (March 19) in US Airways Arena.

WR NATE FORSE was an early bright spot for the Rattlers. Forse spurned his former team for two TDs in the first half, eventually adding one more before his night was done. For the second consecutive week, the Rattlers capitalized on a late first half possession. QB NICK DAVILA found Forse in the end zone with no time remaining on the clock, giving Arizona its first lead of the half at 22-17. A fake extra point run by place holder, back-up QB TREVOR HARRIS, made it 24 - 17 at the half.

The Rattlers defense flexed its muscle, and took control of the game in the second half. After DB VINCE HILL intercepted Milwaukee Mustangs QB Chris Ward on the opening possession of the second half, Davila found WR TRANDON HARVEY over the middle for a 10-yard touchdown giving the Rattlers a 31-17 lead. The Rattlers would go on to outscore the Mustangs 45-to-14 in the second half.

DL MARCUS PITTMAN registered two sacks and one forced fumble that eventually found the arms of teammate DL ANTTAJ HAWTHORNE for the Rattlers first defensive TD of the season.

In his season debut, 2010 Rookie of the Year, WR ROD WINDSOR hauled in four receptions for 101 yards and two touchdowns. Harvey continued his excellent start to the season with eight receptions for 84 yards and one touchdown. After two early turnovers, Davila turned in an exceptional night posting 286 passing yards and seven TDs. Kicker JOE SCHROEDER was perfect on the night, making all seven PATs, and adding a 35-yard field goal.

The Rattlers will look for their third win as they travel to Tulsa to take on the Talons at the BOK Center on Monday, March 28. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:30 CST/4:30 (AZ TIME).
