Our defense is so much better with Pepe there. We need to hope Higuain comes back soon along with Robben. We're not as bad as people make us sound.

Naw they just like to bash the best club in the world whenever they get a chance.. ya know what I mean?
I mean we are 2nd in the league, just 3 behind barca, and we are in the next round of the Champions.. all this with most of our star players injured at some point in the season.

We always have the worse luck. We'll bounce back.

BATE played very well through their Champions League campaign. No surprise that Real Madrid had some trouble scoring. They surely didn't have any issue in terms of possession of the ball throughout the match.

It's especially hard to play there with negative degree temperature and it snowing. It was a good result considering the conditions the match was played in.

Real Madrid's decent display isn't attributed the the cold considering the type of protective under clothing the players wear and there being no freezing issues with the pitch quality that day. BATE have just been a solid side. Look at what they went through to get to the group stage.
