<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>OWINGS MILLS, Md. (AP) -- Baltimore Ravens fullback Alan Ricard was placed on injured reserve Friday, ending his season after six games because of chronic calf injuries.A Pro Bowl alternate in 2003, Ricard has started just two games this season after aggravating calf injuries dating back to training camp.Running back Jamal Lewis ranks 28th in the NFL with 54.3 yards per game and has been limited to 2.9 yards per carry. He has continually noted Ricard's absence as a significant contributing factor in the offense's struggles.Baltimore ranks last in the league in scoring offense with 11.5 points a game. The Ravens promoted rookie linebacker Mike Smith to the active roster from the practice squad and signed rookie linebacker Ivory McCoy (Michigan State) to the practice squad.</div>It's just getting worse.

Yeah, it sucks. Jamal Lewis is doing pretty bad without him.
