If only I had the poll option available but we don't. Anyways, I read a report by baltimoresun that the Ravens are "exploring" their options at RB in teh free agency. Though Jamal is still their primary option out there, they have expressed some interest in other free agents. The possibly RBs are... 1. Jamal Lewis 2. Corey Dillon 3. Chris Brown 4. TJ Duckett Corey Dillon is currently speaking with Philidelphia and New York (which? I have no idea.). I surely don't want him because the day he was with Cincinnati and they played in Baltimore, he was afraid of #52 and never came back. Chris Brown would be a pretty good fit since he is a 6'3'' 220 lb guy who is going to turn 26 next month. He also had some chemistry with Steve McNair back in Tennessee. For Duckett, he hasn't talked with the Ravens but he looks like an intriguing choice. There is the option of drafting a RB. The most possible ones we could take are... First Round: Michael Bush Second Round: Kenny Irons or Tony Hunt And the Ravens clearly seem to be the #1 loser in free agency after the weekend. We lost 4 players within that span and only retained one. A good one though. Jarret Johnson is slated to take AD's spot and hopes he could do a good job at it. After that signing, the hopes of Joey Porter as a Raven is thrown out the window. As for our offensive line, since Pashos is gone, Adam Terry will start at right tackle. The Ravens still might draft a linemen in the first round since Ogden is still pondering retirement. During the combine, the Ravens have interviewed Levi Brown so there's a possibility the Ravens might draft him if available. But I'm not concerned since Newsome has done a great job with drafting players.
I believe Dillon is speaking to the Giants. I'd heard Duckett to the Jets before they traded for T Jones. Ron Dayne is out there as is Lamont Jordan. Doesn't Baltimore still have Musa Smith & Mike Anderson?
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (blackadder)</div><div class='quotemain'>Ron Dayne is out there as is Lamont Jordan.</div> Ron Dayne  Jordan just restructured his deal with the Raiders. He'll be back in Oakland next season.
Musa Smith is injury prone and hit IR three times in his three year career. Mike Anderson is just getting paid to stay on the bench apparently.
I really dont understand why they dont use mike anderson, he is a good powerful runner, that has put up 1000 yard seasons. Micheal Bush isnt a 1st rounder, his injury proneness has him projected at probly mid to late 2nd round, unless he runs a good 40 time, which he hasnt done any drills i dont think at all. With a excellent workout he could push early 2nd. I say here is how the ravens should approach their running situation: 1st down-Mike Anderson 2nd Down- Mike Anderson/Musa Smith 3rd down and short- mike anderson 3rd and medium- Musa Smith 3rd and long- PJ Daniels I wouldnt spend money on RBs when you have Mike Anderson, even though his age is up there, he has only really played in like 3 seasons. I think PJ Daniels can be a good speed burst like Leon Washington was for the Jets
