Allen had a great game and got a triple double by finishing with 29 points 10 rebounds and 10 assists  As sonics beatdown the Lakers 107-90.Allen been playing great ever since he got traded from the Bucks..possible sonics could still make the playoffs and believe it or not but they have played better since trading away payton and mason.Allen looks like a new player out there.

Brent Barry is setting him up with some great open looks and the big men for the Sonics are great at setting picks. Reggie Evans, Jerome James, & Drobnjak.

Sonics were running on all cylinders against a flat Laker team tonight.

I knew Seattle got the better of the trade.

    Milwuakee Bucks 1 - 3
    Seattle Supersonics 3 - 1

Seatle is actually playing better with Ray. They beat the Pistons and Lakers. But I dont think they can make the playoffs.

Well I don't think we should be too quick to label the trade a stupid move on either sides as yet. Either player could move on next season and there may be some surprise trades in the offseason. Suffice it to say that neither team would be devastated if they didn't suddenly turn around their whole season with this mid-season trade.

I know and I agree but. Now the Bucks are out the play-offs and before they traded Ray they were #6 *shaking head*

They can just as easily be right back in it.

I still think the Bucks got the better of the deal. Desmond Mason will be a star in this league. Payton is an All Star and will most likely re-sign with the Bucks. The Bucks are still trying to figure out their rotations, but once they get that done, they'll be fine.

The Sonics are playing better mainly because they are finally healthy. It was also easier to fit Ray Allen into their offense because they play a more wide open style, so Allen can step right in and fire away.

finally, someone recognize what ray ray is doing with his new team this year. If the sonics get a PG like tony parker, they'll be back in the playoffs next year.
