Attorneys for former Miami safety Ray-Ray Armstrong said he and his family have dropped plans to pursue legal action against the university after he was dismissed from the football team, and Armstrong has decided he will play football at a small school this season.

Armstrong's father, Albert Armstrong, says his son will play this year at Faulkner College in Alabama, an NAIA school.

Armstrong couldn't go to any NCAA school because he was told he was ineligible, a source told ESPN's Joe Schad.
