<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Continuing to get stronger as the season progresses, Bobcats guard Raymond Felton was named NBA Eastern Conference T-Mobile Rookie of the Month for the second consecutive time for games played in March. Felton also took home the honor in February. "It's a great accomplishment to be able to win the award for a second time. I'm just doing what I can to help the team and this shows that hard work and dedication pays off,? said Felton. ?I am looking to continue to finish the season strong." The fifth overall pick in the 2005 NBA Draft, Felton averaged 17.0 points, 6.6 assists, 1.1 steals and 3.3 rebounds in 14 games. He also connected on a rookie-high .474 (36-76) from three-point range, while leading all rookies in scoring for the month. Over his last four games in March at Miami, at Memphis and home versus Atlanta and Chicago, Felton averaged 24.0 points, 8.3 assists and shot. 493 from the field. Felton is the second Bobcats player in franchise history to win back-to-back NBA Rookie of the Month honors, joining Emeka Okafor, who won the award in November and December respectively last season, en route to winning the NBA Rookie of the Year Award. The 6-1, 198-pound guard also posted four points/assists double-doubles including his 30-point, 10-assist effort at Cleveland on March 22, his 28-point, 10-assist mark against Atlanta on March 28 and his 16-point, 13-assist outing against Orlando on March 21. Felton?s 13 assists against the Magic were a new season and career high. In addition, he reached double-figure scoring in 13 of the 14 games he played. Currently, Felton ranks fourth among NBA rookies in scoring (11.3), tied for second in assists (5.0) and second in steals (1.22). He is also one of only two rookies to rank in the top five in all three categories.</div> Link
