Alright, while the other "Re-do the 2007 Draft" thread is going on, I figured we might as well take it further and do previous years as well. Let's do 2006 here. Voodoo put down the hash pipe. Morrison and Brown, you have lost all rights to say anything negative about any other choice

In every stretch of consistent playing time Brown has gotten, he's shined. He's just burried behind LeBron and Mike Brown's fat ass.

Look everyone knows you have a man-crush the size of Tiger Woods' paycheck on Shannon but you can't realisticly justify him as a lottery pick. Just stop

Look everyone knows you have a man-crush the size of Tiger Woods' paycheck on Shannon but you can't realisticly justify him as a lottery pick. Just stop </div> The pick was not unreasonable at all. As I pointed out, Brown's 13th in sophomore scoring, and I had him going 12th, to a team that needed a wing. Also, in the lottery are players such as Marcus Williams, you singled out Brown, because I've got the guy posted in my av and sig, so therefore I must be biased. Being a fan of a player means you respect their game; if there wasn't something about Brown's game to respect, then why would I be such an advocate of the guy? Brown has only played 15 or more minutes six times this season. In those six games, he's had performances of 20/4/4, 13/3/3, 15/2/3/2, and 12 pts. Also, in those six games, Brown has cracked Sportscenter's Top Ten three times. Brown's minutes varying is unreasonable and a result of playing behind LeBron James, as well as being on bad terms with Mike Brown. In any other situation, Brown would get playing time after those kind of results. With Cleveland though, he was benched for three straight games after James' return, only to resurface against the Warriors in 12 minutes, which he used to post the highest +/- for the Cavaliers that game. That's saying a lot considering that he is not even getting playing time on a consistent basis, is not usually a part of the offense, and doesn't have the confidence of his team, yet is still one of the best players on the floor when he gets the opportunity to play. Also, New Orleans' main team need that year, if you recall, was an athletic two-guard who would compliment Peja --- Shannon Brown.
