The Heat got their act together and SURPRISE!...they're really good.

I don't hate the Heat...I mean, hell, they're just a NBA team. Still, I can't say that I'm happy for their players, coach, management or fans. I'm usually more magnanimous in these situations.

One thing I always enjoy during the NBA playoffs is how many fans take one series or even a single game and draw long-term conclusions from it.

What was your favorite moment of the great OKC Thunder Dynasty?

All I can say is Durant and Westbrook are going to be a force to be reckoned with until further notice.

It's amazing how similar the Heat win was to how they beat us two playoffs ago. OKC (and we) beat them first game at home, lost the 2nd, and got swept.

The heat didn't win it in their first try, but it does show that their big 3 are championship material, along with a pretty darned good roster of support players it took them a few seasons to gather (due to the CBA rules). Chalmers, Miller, Battier, and Haslem are pretty good.

As I said, the Heat are really good.

The question of course is whether a healthy Bulls team can beat them.

I don't really see that the 2011-12 season has proven one thing or the other. The national talking heads had been predicting a Heat Dynasty, then they switched over to a Thunder Dynasty and now they've switched back to a Heat Dynasty. They're no better than we are at predicting this stuff.

Since the Bulls haven't really been good since the end of April when Rose went down, it's pretty easy to jump on their bones.

Re-write history however you want, but the 2011-12 Bulls team was very, very good.

Well I don't know quite what to say, except I'm not surprised.

The heat, for the most part, have gotten boring to me.

I'm not elated that they won, but I'm hoping people will obsess over Lebron's tweets a little less.

The Heat are the Darth Vader of basketball except without the Anakin redemption.

TB#1, I hate the fact they won. Makes me feel bad about the entire season.

Yeah, really -- unless you happen to be a Heat fan (which of course, you are). I think most of the NBA nation otherwise consider The Heat to be Darth Vader. Hopefully next year will see a return of the Jedi.

Well this is nonsense, since everyone wanted those players. I guess everyone wants to give Darth Vader millions of dollars.

Including IIRC, the Bulls. Very hypocritical whining as far as I'm concerned, get over it.
