In pro wrestling, when they want to spice up a character, or maybe a "good guy" isn't resonating with the fans, they often will change his character to a bad guy. In wrestling terminology, it's called a heel turn.

Have you ever turned heel, or do you know anyone who has? Had did it turn out for you? Asking for a friend.

When I was a young boy of 12, I had a friend who's dad was a professional wrestler in Portland. Can't remember his last name now but wish I could. My friend told me that his dad said the violence and mayhem was real which I half way doubt. I do know they tucked razor belts on the body somewhere and would pull them out and cut themselves for effect from time to time. Disgusting.

In the Army it's called a left face or right face or a left oblique march or a right oblique march. Otherwise we were always taught to be on the ball of the foot.
