Real Madrid pulled out another victory this morning. Mirotic had his first start of the season and the second start of his career. I'm not sure what happened to Real Madrid's regular starter at power forward, Novica Velickovic. He's been playing like crap and I have the sneaking suspicious he may have been cut. Mirotic responded to the start with a rather active game: 17 points (7-11 fgs, 2-6 threes, 1-3 fts), 7 reb, 2 a, 1 steal, 2 to, 1 foul, drew 5 fouls, 23 minutes. I've been thoroughly enjoying watching Mirotic develop. He shows something new every game, if he's still very inconsistent. Mirotic was more aggressive off the dribble today than I have seen him in the past. Here's a clip of some highlights. Mirotic (number 12) is all over them: converting in transition; getting beat horribly on defense; and finally taking the ball across the lane and making a nice assist to Felipe Reyes.
