    I like calling players by their birthnames instead of their nicknames. For example, I call T.J. Ford; Terrance Jarrod Ford, and I call Blue Edwards; Theodore Edwards, and I call Speedy Claxton; Craig Claxton.

    Does anyone else know some players names that are different than the ones they go by?

    Yeah, I know one...Jay Williams was Jason Williams....

    No, I don't know any of the top of my head, but I remembered all the ones you said after I read it...

    Yeah, I call Jason Williams, Jay, because it prevents confusion. There are two other memorable players in NBA history with his name and it is convenient to have them all spelled differently.

    Jayson Williams - Nets Star/Murderer
    Jason Williams - Former NBA Wild Child/Grizzlies Team Leader
    Jay Williams - Duke Puke/Legless Loser

    How could you think its funny what happened to JAY Williams , The guys career is in jeopardy, he may never walk again perfectly. How is that funny.

    Jason Williams when he was in DUKE he was nasty remember to come back against Maryland when they were down by 10 with like min something left that team was sick with J running the points and Battier the def special list and Mike the 3 point King and Boozer the reb machine!!!!!!!!!11
