Spanish sports daily AS said the clubs have "held several discussions" about the December 5 fixture, the prize for which will be the 'Santiago Bernabeu friendly' trophy. Real's annual challenge match was initially set for August 28 against Sporting Lisbon but that was postponed following the tragic and sudden death of Sevilla FC player Antonio Puerta only a few days previous. Sporting are believed to already have a match lined up for December 5, leaving Real with the option of inviting another team. If LA Galaxy refuse the reported invitation, Real would likely turn to Turkish side Fenerbahce, the new club of former Real defender Roberto Carlos, the paper said.

Thats pretty good that they want to bring Beckhams team there to play.

8 million euros for 2 year deal and also eligble for up to a million in bonuses. Not bad for a 34 year old lol.

No one was willing to though, but I understand, I'm a big Carlos fan as well and I would pay more to have him at United, but he's getting old.
