Real to invite Beckham back to Madrid for challenge match against Galaxy</p>

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>MADRID (AFP) - Real Madrid are set to give former player David Beckham the ultimate compliment by inviting his Los Angeles Galaxy side to Spain for a challenge match in December, according to a report here Tuesday.

Spanish sports daily AS said the clubs have "held several discussions" about the December 5 fixture, the prize for which will be the 'Santiago Bernabeu friendly' trophy.

Real's annual challenge match was initially set for August 28 against Sporting Lisbon but that was postponed following the tragic and sudden death of Sevilla FC player Antonio Puerta only a few days previous.

Sporting are believed to already have a match lined up for December 5, leaving Real with the option of inviting another team.

If LA Galaxy refuse the reported invitation, Real would likely turn to Turkish side Fenerbahce, the new club of former Real defender Roberto Carlos, the paper said.</div></p>

Thats pretty good that they want to bring Beckhams team there to play.</p>
