Why doesn't this guy get enough credit?! Most people stereotypically say that he isn't on the same level as Kobe, McGrady, James, Wade, Iverson .. etc., but look at his numbers, look at him in the clutch, look at his supporting cast for god's sake, and a coach that ... let's just say I'd rather keep Sam Mitchell than have Doc Rivers. The guy is single handedly keeping a bad, and I mean bad collection of players (A washed up Sczcerbiak with one knee, LaFtrentz, Scalabrine, West, Olowokandi, and Ryan Gomes is your 2nd best player, that's alarming!!) in the playoff hunt. His defence has improved big time since the lockout season. And he's one of the toughest superstars out there. I can't even recall the last time he missed a stretch of games. Yet, people for some mysterious reasons still don't like to put him up with the McGrady's and Bryant's of the NBA. But IMO, the guy is undoubtadly a top 5 as far as swingmen in the NBA are concerned.
Other than LeBron James, there hasn't been a better SF in the league this season. He should get All-NBA second or third team.

Bottom line is that the team he runs is 26-36, in the weakest division, in the weakest conference. Pierce is a star, but you're not going to get a stack of credit when you can't even win in that division.
