According to Newsday's Tom Rock, a source told him the deal was voided due to Suggs having a condition called Cervical Spinal Stenosis. A condition which causes spasticity in the legs, numbness in the extremities, frequent pinched nerves, and sudden and unexpected weakness in the buttocks and calves. Which the condition may not effect Suggs ability to play today, there is no way of knowing whether it could hinder him 10 years from now or tomorrow.Recent draft pick Marcus McNeill saw his draft stock drop from the mid-1st round to the mid-2nd round after pre-draft tests revealed that he is in the early stages of the condition.

Yeah, except hes had that condition since he was in college also, like McNeill. Which makes me wonder just why the Jets would trade for someone who we should have known had that condition. My guess is it must be in a more advanced version then we had expected.

It must be awkward for Suggs and Strait now, they were supposed to be shipped out but now they're still with their teams lol.
