Favre lost his brother-in-law to a tragic accident yesterday. If we all don't remember what happen after he lost his father, he won three games in a row. Not only that, but i think the Packers are in a better state of mind with McKenzie out their hair. I say look for the Packers to win the next 3-4 games.
Packers have personnel problems on defense that will prevent them from winning, look for more ahman fumbles and more packer losses.
Here's hoping you're right, Bleedblk&gld. Tennessee is going to be a tough, tough, tough game. IF the Packers can win that one (a big "if"), then I think they'll wake up and play better. If they lose Monday, though, I expect a downward spiral unlike anything seen in Green Bay for the last 12 years. Favre's never had a losing season. That could end this year if Monday goes badly.

I think Favre's done. Maybe I'm wrong, but I think he's running out of gas. Maybe this will add a little more fuel to his fire that is QB greatness, but then again, maybe it's to little, to late.
I don't think the problem is necessarily with Favre, but with the defense. Having a bad defense puts extra pressure on the QB and offense to perform every single time. That can result in a lot of mistakes. Trust me...after several years of the Vikings having a horrible defense, we have seen what it can do to an offense.
Favre will always serve up one or two passes a game that has a chance to be picked off. There is still plenty of arm strength there to throw the deep out so I don't think Favre is done. The Pack has an array of problems. First and foremost, they are not a good enough football team to overcome penalties and turnovers. Now, I know I am not telling anyone anything new here when it comes to the relationship of wins/losses to flags and putting the ball on the ground. However, one turnover can kill this football team. The first half last week was one holding penalty that killed a 1st quarter drive and a couple of false starts killed another. Next thing you know, its halftime, GB hasn't been over the 50 yard line and have only ran 11 plays. Next on the list is Charmin. He cannot adjust on the fly. I realize that GB has scored TD's in all 4 of their games when opening up the second half. After those drives, pretty much goose egg. Meanwhile, teams are getting pressure on Favre and shutting down running lanes. On the opposite side of the ball, the D is getting ran over and one of the corners is getting burned. And to top it all off, Slowik is coming in on Monday (which has been each week with exception of week 1) stating that he did not make the proper adjustments. Tom Rossley states that the score & the opponents defense predicts his second half play calling. So much for scheme and adjustments.
One thing I think that has really hurt them this year is coaching. They've completely gotten away from what made them a playoff team last season.... running the football. Green is only going to be effective if he carries the ball 25 times a game. The guy can truly control a game by himself. Favre is not going to win games by himself especially with the inconsistent play of the defense. Damnit Green Bay. Run the f*^&#@ ball. You'll win if you can get Green going and control the clock. It's not F@!#*& brain surgery.
KEEP THROWING THE BALL GREEN BAY, PLEASE!!!! I have also heard that there has been quite a bit of discord within the locker room. Go figure. Blame that one on McKenzie.
Winning is the cure-all. If Green Bay gets back to the basics and wins a few games, everything will come together. I do agree about losing again. The season could spiral and it could get worse before it gets better.
