I know a lot of people download thier music, but if I like a certain band or artist, I go out and buy the cd enstead of downloading it. Give a short review of the cd and what you like and dislike about it and if its worth buying and what not. Favourite track from it, etc. Rate it on a scaleThese are the last 2 cd's I bought. The Road to Escondido- Eric Clapton and J.J. CaleThis purchase was made just to complete my Clapton collection. I have every Clapton cd. From what I've heard on it, its quite alright. It has a blues-ish feel to it, as do a lot of Clapton albums. Its sort of faster paced than the others in my opinion. On this album he plays with J.J. Cale. Cale is most known for his singles that Clapton recorded in the 70's. Cocaine and After Midnight were big hits for Clapton back in the day. This is one of three albums that Clapton has done where he records with a blues legend. Although Robert Johnson doesn't play on "Me and Mr. Johnson," Clapton plays Johnson songs. Then there is "Riding with the King" with B.B. King. Fav song-Missing PersonRating-3/5World's Apart And You Will Know Us By the Trail of DeadI got this cd today after hearing one of thier earlier albums at my friends. This is thier new cd. This is an Austin based band. I really like the sound. Don't know how to really explain it, but I just really like it. An Indie band. Fav song-Worlds ApartRating 3.5/5Post some of your new cds as well. :happy0144:

Tony MacAlpine-Edge of Insanity- Good shred album. Tony MacAlpine-Maximum Security- Incredible cd from start to finish. Very melodic along with the shred. Vinnie Moore- Mind's Eye- Another great album. I like Time Odyssey better but this is not far behind. Jason Becker- Perpetual Burn- Another classic album though I haven't gotten into it as much. Maybe looking for for more melody.
