KILGORE, Texas - Police in Texas "apprehended a reckless driver" Thursday that turned out to be a dog who crashed into two cars in a Walmart parking lot.

According to Kilgore Police Department, one of the victims noticed the suspect "barrelling down on him" but couldn't get out of the way.

"He was shocked to see the driver was a dog!," KPD shared on social media. "Yep, the pooch was actually behind the wheel when the crash occurred."

The investigation revealed the furry friend was sitting in an unoccupied vehicle waiting on his family while they shopped.

"He apparently got a little antsy and bounced around the cab setting this truck in motion," the police continued. "The steering column had some prior damage and this pooch must have placed the vehicle in drive."

Officials added that the dog was also wearing a leash, and it’s believed that he got it caught on the emergency brake and released it.

"It doesn't sound feasible but an eyewitness saw the pooch behind the wheel just before the crash. He certainly has a guilty look on his face," officials added.

No one was injured in this crash.

That's where my Grandfather lived. He was murdered there in 2014.

Yeah, it was two dudes. He went to the bank and took out some money inside. A large amount. My grandmother had just passed a bit before and the agreement was to sell the house after she went and divvy the money from it between him and the five kids. He sold it and moved back to Kilgore where he was born and grew up. He was getting out the money to give to everyone.

Two guys were waiting in the bank parking lot in their truck. They were waiting for someone like grandpa to go in and take out money so they could rob it. They followed him home and into his house and robbed him at gunpoint. Knowing him, he told them to fuck off, maybe tried to fight back. They shot him between the eyes. He was found hours later by my cousin.

They found the guys because they smoked cigarettes outside and dropped the butts. They also stole a bunch of stuff from inside and dropped some leaving it on the ground outside with their DNA and finger prints on it.

Oh man, that must have been devastating to your family at an already difficult time. Hopefully those fucks got life in prison but if they didn't you should show up to all their parole hearings.

We were very surprised by it. It was dad's dad. He was pretty devastated. He was a good dude. Give family and friends the shirt off his back.

I heard they caught the guys from my cousins. I didn't hear what they were sentenced to. I know they don't fuck around in Texas.
