http://scout.scout.com/a.z?s=209&p=8&c=1&nid=1995001This girl goes to my school, she's now about 6'7 and she's huge..Tallest person in the school..Shes sucha beast in basketball.. :worthy: We also got this football player at our school, he runs a 4.4 40, he's about 5'9 200, He squats about 520, He plays MLB and RB, He's a sophmore..Watch out for him..And he's in my science class..lol he's so stupid..Do you guys have any basketball, or football players at your school that are being recruited?
we have the best baseball player in mass. he won the gatorade player of the year.we had a football player who was given 4 year at brown
Sean Imadiyi went to New Mexico State last year I think. He was a very good bball player. Matt Mosley last year commited to ASU but then went to Washington for football.
last year we had josh lomers. he's playing for baylor now. what an idiot, he got scholarship offers from arizona, geogia tech, and I think Kansas. We have several soccer players that are going places tho. Our team won state last year. our tennis team is also very dominant. afew of our linemen in football last year got scholarships (to Texas Tech, one walked on to UT).The baseball team also won state a few years ago. one of the pitchers got offered a $400,000 signing bonus with the Angels to go to UT.our school is considered to have the best extra-cirricular program in the state (4A).
Our rival school, Marist, has had Sean McVay(now at you of Ohio) playing football, Brandon Echols(GA Southern - Football), Rasheem Barrett(Auburn for basketball), Matt Hapring(Basketall, GT, now NBA)
Nobody really around here. RB Kevin Grady at Michigan went to a school around here. Former OF John VanderWal went to my highschool.I just remembered: We have the number 2 ranked boxer in the nation(I think) for his age at my school.
From my high school...RedSox right fielder Eric Hinske...and sophomore Wisconson OG Andy Kemp. (I'm friends with his sister).
I don't know about my school since it is my first year there, but at another High School that my friends go to, they had a baseball player who is a sophomore get signed to play for the Phillies. He just needs to finish high school first.
A guy in my class, who I'd talk to a lot, hes really cool, plays soccer for the Northern Irish youth team, he also regularly gets scouted by Premiership teams, which is the best league in the world I think. My school has a lto of amazing soccer players.
Nope. I live in Canada...so...Some guy on our basketball team is 6"4 and averages like 20+ a game. He's the pg even though he's taller than almost everyone else on the team lol.
I don't go to high school anymore, so I guess I'll talk about five guys that I knew personally that were recruited from my high school.Scott Sellers... the dude is just plain sick. He was a freak of nature. He won a lot of state championships in track and I believe he broke the state high-jump record by jumping 7'4". He was recruited heavily by a lot of colleges, but he eventually signed with Kansas State.Michael and Sean Morris... they were brothers (obviously), and there dad played in the NBA for the Utah Jazz (part of those two Finals teams). They were pretty good basketball players, and signed with Colorado State.Quieto Teasley... really good at a lot of sports, but eventually signed with Baylor. He's a RB, but I don't think he's starting yet.Trevor Gerland... he was a great TE and won a few state championships in track as well. He signed with UT, and redshirted last year. He was also recruited by USC for both football and track.
Not from my school, but Corey Hassan (basketball for Boston University now) went to high school just 20 minutes away from mine, and I got to see him play live vs. my school 2 years ago. Last year he lead BU in scoring, as a freshman! That's nasty, and if you know who he is, you know he has a great shot. Anyone that follows college ball might know who he is.
Oh yeah, Rashad Lewis went to Alief Elsik which was like 20-25 minutes away from my high school, even though that was a long time ago.
This one person I know who used to babysit me got a fullride scholarship to Cal last season as a reliever. A kid I know in my grades brother also got a scholarship to San Jose St. for football. I almost went to De La Salle High School which is one of the best athletic schools in the country. Brent Barry played there and they have multiple basketball players get offers there every year. Also 4 players from there were drafted in the '06 NFL draft including Maurice Drew from UCLA in the 2nd round. They've had a few players go pro and I believe Amani Toomer on the Giants went there but I'm not sure.
