Figures recently released by Companies House reveal that Glazer's holding company "Red Football" recorded staggering losses of 137.7 million pounds for the period ending June 2006. This coming in stark contrast to the 30.8 million profits recorded by the sister company, Manchester United. Even the club's figures were boosted by the proceeds for Obe Mikel. The real net combined losses were over 100 million pounds. Interestingly the Glazers chose to reveal the true situation at Red Football as late as the law permits (10 months), so that many would be fooled for a time with the club's "results". It would seem that more and more people, even at Old Trafford itself, are beginning to realise the gravity of the real financial situation. How long can the theatre last at the theatre of prawns?
If this is the case then why haven't they had points deducted as in the rules? If a club starts to "live beyond their means" knowingly they can be deducted points.
