The Boston Red Sox activated infielder Kevin Youkilis on Tuesday and prepared to make more moves as they deal with a flurry of injuries to position players. To make room for Youkilis, the team put outfielder Ryan Sweeney (mild concussion) on the newly created seven-day disabled list, retroactive to Sunday. Sweeney hasn't played since Saturday, when he sustained the head injury during a game in Philadelphia.
