I think Mike Redd would be a great addition to the Cavs. Something they have lacked this year is an outside shooting force. Mike Redd would give them that. He's one of the premier shooters in the game today and he is just what the Cavs need. Plus, put him alongside LeBron James, that would easily be one of the best 1-2 combinations in the game and could finally give the Cavs what they need to become a premier team in the Eastern conference.
Yeah, I'd love to have Redd so that we would finally have a pure shooter. But hasn't he said that he wants to stay in Milwaukee for the rest of his career? Izzo does not need to leave that Michigan State program for the NBA. Izzo really has a good chane at winning another championship with the team he has coming back, and the recruits he has coming in for the 2006 season.

The new owner might not want to pay Michael Redd a max contract and would rather start fresh with young players and draft picks. I agree, Izzo should stay in college, he's great for the NCAA.
redd and izzo I dont think the Cavs should be experimenting with a first time coach while trying to appease LBJ into staying when his contract ends. Bring phil jackson in. As for redd - there is no doubt in my ming they will offer him the max and becuase of the ownership change and the terrible state of the Bucks I think it is more likely that he will go to the Cavs.

The main talks about him concern a return to the Lakers and a potential showing in New York as their coach.
I think its a good idea. Michael Redd really needs to flee Milwakee, and lets look at it, Cavs seem like a good option. With Lebrons passing ability a penetrate and kick to Redd for a 3 seems like such a good play all of a sudden. Also it will free some space inside for big Z to operate, and make Cavs a threat whenever a team desides to play zone. But if you are aiming at Mike Redd i dont see why dont go out and take a shot at anothers shootign start, well i dont know say Ray Allen who is also on a free agents list this offseason. For the coach issue, i think that would be nice, but lets not hurry because , many other good coaches are still out of job, but i mean what do i know im just a fan right?

Maybe Phil Jackson could be argued as being better than Tom Izzo, but outside of that, who is there? Tom Izzo is arguably one of the top five coaches in the nation. If he were to leave Michigan State (which he won't) then Cleveland would be very stupid to not offer him a deal.

He's not going to get any better now at this stage of his career (not saying that he's done for though). Michael Redd is only 25 (26 come August), and he's still going to get better. At this stage, he has yet to hit the prime of his career. So, couple that with the age gap, and to me, Michael Redd seems like the better choice of the two.
Redd is the man for this team. If Milwuakee truely gives him a max contract, they are setting their franchise up for failure. Redd can score, and damn well. But he's not really good at much else. Seeing him wait behind the 3 point line and watch LBJ penetrate and kick it out would win this team 5-10 more games a year, at least.
