They said he broke Kareem's old single game record of 55, he had 57 and missed a game winning 3 as time expired. He only had 16 in the first half if I remember right. You guys have something special going, keep it up.....

Redd's 57 points not enough for Bucks

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Despite getting a lift from the best individual scoring feat in Milwaukee Bucks history, the team continued its misery Saturday night by falling to the Utah Jazz, 113-111, at the Bradley Center.

Redd sank 18 of 32 shots, including 6 of 12 from three-point range, and made 15 of 17 free throws. He scored 42 points in the second half when the Bucks, who trailed by 24 points in the second quarter, mounted a furious rally that fell just short.

"I'm humbled," Redd said. "When you talk about Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Oscar Robertson, Glenn Robinson, Ray Allen and guys like that that have come through this organization, I'm humbled. I really am. From where I came from, a second-round pick to this...Unfortunately we lost the game."</div>

And what do you know? The Bucks still manage to give up more points than they scored. We're 2-5 and don't play a lick of defense. Damn it, this is frustrating.

With regards to Redd, amazing performance. Any time you break a record that was previously held by Kareem, well, you're doing pretty well for yourself. Redd has really become a great scorer the last couple of years. He's not going to take it to the rack like Kobe or LeBron, but his jumper is as good as anyone's, and he is a terrific three point shooter. I like to think of him as a rich man's Rip Hamilton, but no one notices him playing in Milwaukee. Oh well. He's been great for us, and hopefully he'll keep it up and get some love around the league.

"But I wanted to win. That's the main thing. It probably would have felt better if I would have won the game."

    Probably?
