What do you think about the Indy game this weekend? Do the Packers show up and shake off the "we suck in domes" curse? Or do they drop to 1-2 at the hands of Manning and company? I'm hoping they can pull it out, but I'm not going to hold my breath. I can't remember the last time the Pack won a game IN Indy...
The regular season games at Indy are no problem, it's during the playoffs where your team gets their ass kicked there. I had the pleasure of watching Manning and Co. turn my Broncos into glue right before my eyes last Jan...LOL
Before the season, I had the packers off to a 1-2 start, L W L in that order. They surprised in CAR, and disappointed in GB. If they win in Indy, it's a surprise to me, and if they lose, it's what was expected. 1-2 is not bad, as long as they play well in Indy. If they completely lay an egg, I will be worried.
I think the game will be closer than people expect. Indy's defense is absolutely nothing special. Ahman Green looks like he could be one of the top 3 backs this year again. If he can hold on to the ball and GB plays smart, they might even pull the upset.
I think GB loses, but it definitely is not the end of their season. Green Bay has a good history of coming back late in the season. I am developing a new philosophy (especially from the lessons taught last year). I would actually prefer that my team starts a little rough instead of extremely fast. That way they can learn where all the problems on the team are early on.
