<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>From Staff Reports 2:50 PM EDT, July 2, 2007 When the Orlando Magic open play in their own Pepsi Pro Summer League next week, their only draft pick from this season will be playing, according to the team.Milovan Rakovic , a 6-foot-10, 250-pound forward from Serbia-Montenegro, will join last year's draft picks -- shooting guard J.J. Redick and forward James Augustine -- on the Magic's summer-league roster for the games July 9-13. Marcin Gortat, a center/power power forward whose draft rights were acquired by the Magic during the 2005 draft, also is expected to play.</div>http://www.orlandosentinel.com/sports/bask...0,5613433.storyIf you scroll down, you can see the rest of the roster, no one else of real consequence is playing for us. This is good news however, that Redick will be able to work in the offseason, and show what he can do. A great chance to work on his shot, and see where he needs to be at, as well as already figure out a conditioning program for the rest of the offseason. Playing in summer league can only help him to get better, and get more playing time this year. With as good as that is though, I am even happier to see Augustine getting playing time. With Milicic probably leaving, he is our third best big guy on the roster. We need him to get used to playing good talent, and get ready for this upcoming season because we are going to need him. As for Rakovic, this will be a good oppurtunity to see what he's got. At 6-10-250 pounds, he could come in useful in the future, and maybe get a spot with us. I can only hope this works out well for us.
