I can't see Orlando giving him a chance when they desperately need defense off the bench.

I dont know what you could get at this point....I guess a team that thinks they are a shooter away may have interest

Why did they draft this guy in the first place?

At the time they drafted him, they didnt have the long range bombing prowess they have now....i believe theres a role for him in Orlando, if hes patient

I dunno. They're wanting athleticism and defense at the 2 with Hedo and Rashard lacking on defense at SG/SF/PF. Of course a 3 pt specialist can find some time on a team, I doubt it would be any more than spot minutes during the right situations. The problem is that if they trade him now they would probably get no more than a second round pick. If they want to play him to increase his value it could hurt their team and he could really suck anyway.

Either way they'll have to end up trading him for a loss IMO. Look for him to be a "throw in" to a larger trade in the offseason or at the deadline.

I'm still shocked he's on the team. He doesn't really fit in there at all. He's a no defense guy that can simply shoot the ball. They already have their fair share of those. I'm sure they can find something for him, it won't be equal value of that #9 pick they burned on him, but they should find something.

Send him to the Knicks to play in D'Antoni's system where 3 point shooting is encouraged. I don't think the Magic ever drafted Redick expecting him to be a cornerstone of their team. They were hoping he'd be someone to space the floor for D12, but Redick's inability to defend kept him on the bench. I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up in Europe at some point.

It also didn't help Redick and Nelson couldn't be on the court at the same time since both are undersized.
