<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">He can't create his own shot. He's not quick enough. He's a below-average defender. He's been disappointing in some big games.

J.J. Redick has heard all the criticisms of his game, and he has one word for those who don't think he should be taken early in the first round of the NBA draft.

"Stupid," said Redick, who matter-of-factly starts rattling off some of his accomplishments during a splendid four-year career at Duke.

"I don't think you can do those things if you can't flat-out play," he said.
The Jazz took a look at the 2006 Wooden Award winner Tuesday, when Redick joined Villanova's Randy Foye, West Virginia's Mike Gansey and Australian Brad Newley in a workout at the team's practice facility.

Coach Jerry Sloan was impressed - not only by Redick, but by the other three shooting guards as well.

"All those guys played hard," he said. "It was a nice workout. It's fun to watch guys when it looks like they're excited about playing."

Redick and Foye have been projected to go anywhere from No. 8 to No. 18 in the first round of the draft, which is June 28.

The Jazz would likely be interested in either player, if they were still available at No. 14.

Redick hopes to go higher, of course, although he was politically correct when questioned about joining the Jazz.

"I'm really not worried about what number I'm drafted," he said. "I just want to be drafted by a good organization where I'll fit in and be used the right way." </div>

Looks like the Jazz want to go back to what worked in the 90's. Last year they get Deron, who was compared to Stockton, and now JJ the next Hornacek
