MLB needs to do a better job in training umpires. Never have I seen so many mistakes in calling balls & strikes.
Literally, the integrity of the game is disintegrating before our eyes. Umpiring needs an overhauling.
Sick and tired of their shodddy performance day in and day out..

Why they won’t give Florial a true look baffled me. This is the perfect scenario for him. We are up big, going into the ASB and we can let him play consecutive games and get used to the speed of the game and see if he’s worth anything. Instead we keep going to the scrap heap instead of giving these kids a true look.

The Cincinnati Redlegs have strained Yankee pitching this whole series. Yesterday Yankees went through
7 pitchers, day before 4 pitchers. With Cortes tonight, fans do not know him to be reliable of late. He’s been
throwing gopher balls and God knows who BaBoone will be calling in relief. All this with Boston coming
in this weekend after the Rays mowed them down in Tampa.

For Trashman scraping the bottom of the proverbial player barrel seems to be less of a risk than using
players in his farm system. Trashman is caught up in the analytical game. Players like Florial, , Andújar,
Domingues should be given a shot in the outfield.

The reason I keep pushing Florial over Andujar is because Florial is at least a lefty bat. That would solve the “We need Gallo for his lefty bat” excuse…which is exactly why Trashman won’t call him up. Doesn’t want to hurt poor little Gallo’s feelings. Only way Gallo isn’t here after the trade deadline is if he’s hurt. The amount of collateral damage trading him would do to our farm isn’t worth it. Just DFA him and be done with it…but then that means Trashman and his dumbass analytics department will have to admit they fucked up.

Very well said 94. Both muggy and Florial should be up here and playing. Get rid of Gallo and hicks already. The Martian still needs some more seasoning but the Yankees always delay their hitters outside of Torres for some reason.

Different game, same shit, same hitting approach...no hit after 5 innings.

This team is one and done in the playoffs. Carpenter showing why he’s washed up. Gallo useless as fucking always. Without Judge going lights out to start the season this team is a .500 team.

Well…Castillo is no-hitting the “Bombers” through 5 innings. Cortes pitching a reasonably good game….
    Yankees trail 1-0.

If anything, Cortes looks to be giving the Yankees necessary innings. The offense is in a coma.

Everytime Gallo bats, I see Trashman swinging wildly……yelling, “Damn. hit the fucking ball already!”

This Ump sucks...screwed the Reds' pitcher Castillo out of an inning ending strike out...4 times.

Loaisiga, off disabled list,, enter inning 8 and proceeds to give up go ahead run on a Joey Votto single.
Yankee infield fucked up a potential double play ball.
Jackass Loaisiga gives up 2 more runs.

Folks, this game is over. Reds lead 4-1.

Not a good sign. Team loses home series to last place Reds. The way Yankees are hitting this game I do not
    foresee a comeback.

The bullpen has hit a rough patch. They miss Marinaccio.
