The Washington Redskins' first big signing of the offseason happens to be a player that general manager Scot McCloughan knows well. Washington signed defensive end Ricky Jean Francois to a three-year, $9 million deal with $4 million guaranteed, his agent, Drew Rosenhaus, confirmed to ESPN's Adam Schefter. The total value could be worth as much as $11.25 million. Indianapolis had cut Jean Francois earlier this week in part because he would have counted $5.5 million against the salary cap.
