say what u want, eagles were robbed by the refs on sunday. they missed 2 clips, a offsides and like called the holds on usbut not on them. i know they were gernerous with that 4 and 26 spot but freddie was like half a yard over anyway, but then pushed back so its forward progress. then the clock thing what a moron.
Dawk, I have to agree that I thought the refs were against Philly early on. But as the game progressed they missed quite a few that went the other way as well. Overall, it was a fairly bad game for the refs and for the coaches.
Typical eagle fan...lotta big talk till they get whipped..then "we wuz robbed". The egirls were beaten by a better team. End of story. At least it should be a long time before we have to see them in the NFC championship again. BUH BYE egirls
I think you're onto something BP, but then again, I think all fans that go through what the Eagles fans have had to endure, would have the same attitude. To come so close, but fall short so many times has to test your faith and loyalty to your favorite team. As for the Eagles not making the NFC Championship next season, you're probably right again. The NFC has gotten to be the weaker conference (IMO) so it's anyone's guess who will represent next season.
the play dmac got hurt was close to offsides, and a late hit. other times in the GB game there were holds that werent called. im not bitching, the WRs lost that game for us and the way they played we deserved it. im just sayin the refs dont call it fair. SF, i rember last year when every1 said the giants and skins would be the top 2 teams in the east, i said the eagles would be back and most of youz ripped on me(i only rember one loser, but i couldnt say who else did but it was the majority). lets wait and see what happens in the FA period/
In defense to the eagles representing next season. I dont know if some have looked at next seasons schedule for philly but gees i can see them winning there div and possibly homefield with the schedule they have next year. Since they have the most $$$ to spend in the offseason im assuming they will improve there team alot. Dont count them out yet.
