The raiders were called for I beleive 15 penalties yesterday night although half the night Sapp was being held, anyone else notice this. Do you think there were only 7 calls on teh Pats because they are the Pats.

No the Raiders did make mistakes and the Pats did as well. Both teams got away with some. Both teams got called. I watched the entire game and not one time did I fine myself thinking about the refs being biased. The Pats made the adjustments in the 2nd half and pretty much handled the Raiders in the 2nd half.

I thought the Raiders got more penalties because they were sloppy and undisciplined. The Patriots are better coached and don't make a lot of mistakes. Simple as that.

the raiders always are one of the top teams in penaltys because they have no discipline

i saw quite few plays where at least on of the raiders defensive linemen was being held and there was no call...on one play in particular, i saw the pats left tackle with a blatant hold that was shown on several replays because the pats rb made the first down, but probably shouldn't have because of the hold...but, in the defense of the left tackle, his hand never left the chest area...he didn't have his hand around the shoulder, he had it on the front of the jersey...from what i understand, that is acceptable techinque as of now

on the other hand, the raiders o-line obviously were not holding because they were getting blown up on just about every play...i haven't seen collins scramble that much since he had to get out of charlotte

I did see quite a bit of holding on the part of the offensive line, but that is pretty normal in any game.

The Raiders are a sloppy team. There's no getting around that, they committ a lot of penalties.
