<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Saints | Bush contemplating not signing?Fri, 21 Jul 2006 21:33:34 -0700Jason Cole, of Yahoo Sports, reports there has been some talk of New Orleans Saints rookie RB Reggie Bush not signing in time for training camp. Now, a league source said Bush is toying with the idea of sitting out the entire season and going back in the NFL Draft in 2007 if he doesn't get his price. "No player has ever had the kind of leverage that Reggie Bush has right now," the source said. "The Saints made it clear what they were willing to do before and now we'll see if they're going to get there." Two sources said that talks between the Saints and agent Joel Segal have been nearly non-existent. Wednesday, July 19, Mike Ornstein, who is Bush's marketing agent, told the Clarion-Ledger of Jackson, Miss., that he didn't think Bush would be signed in time for camp. Ornstein is not allowed to negotiate contracts, but he is acutely aware of all of Bush's business matters. Bush supposedly has more than $5 million in the bank from multiple endorsement deals Ornstein has negotiated since Bush left the University of Southern California. Bush could probably sit out 2006 and still be a high pick next year.</div>
Wow, if he goes back into the draft that would be the wierdest but best thing even to happen to the NFL.
Just sounds like a leverage ploy with his agent. This kinda stuff is common threatening to hold out, ect, for a better deal.I dont expect a prolonged holdout by Bush thougn. Simply because it will only hurt Bush. If he skipped a full season hed be lucky to be a top 10 pick next year like Mike Williams was. Out of sight, out of mind so he would hold out and still not get his money and im sure even he realizes that.

But that is what the NFL does to you... i hope he snaps out of what ever he is going through... damn.. greed does some stupid things to people...

He has about 5 million dollers to his name already from endorsements. Although that money would dry up quickly if he wants to keep being greedy about money. Besides, the CFL season is going on now so it'd be a little late for that one and NFL Europe and the AFL usually kick off right after the Super Bowl so he would likely have to miss things like the NFL Combine and his pro-day.
I hope he goes back into the draft. Then he gets drafted by Houston next year and things will have come full circle.

Who knows what gonna happen. Bucs drafted Bo Jackson in 85' and he didn't wanna sign with them so he re-enter the draft in 86' and the Raiders drafted him and look at that success he had until he got hurt early in his career. Maybe It isn't that bad of a idea, i mean, maybe Bush doesn't really seem excited because New Orlean is so shitty, not trying to be an ass to their country but their team is just horrible, i don't blame Bush.

They are still finding dead bodies to this day...
Dude that would be really crazy to sit out the entire year and re-enter the draft, ik he prolly doesnt wana play there but idk what its gona help him with.
