Is there any way someone can go down and fire Thibs right in the middle of this game? Like right effing now? McDermott is 3/3 FG, and 2/2 on 3's and from the line, 10 points in 5 minutes. Hinrich is the best defense the Hornets have right now, so you pull McDermott and leave Hinrich at PG while bringing Moore at SG? What does Hinrich have to do before Thibs will at least try Moore at PG? A position he has played in each of his first three NBA seasons? I am just stunned and baffled. I can't be the only one, right?
I wonder where the lead would be if Idioteau would have left in McDoug? He was on fire, in the last 8:34 of the first half when the on-fire McDoug got benched for Dunleavy, MDJ put up ZEROS across the box score... except for a foul and the steal, which led to him blowing a layup so he'd get a "1" in the FGA column. I cannot imagine what it must have felt like to be a Bull at the 8:34 mark when Thidiot takes out McDoug and leaves Hinrich on the floor so that he could contribute an air-ball and three fouls in one of the worst 5 minutes and 41 seconds of basketball you'll ever see. But I suppose it's GarPax's fault that the moron coach keeps playing Kirk ahead of Moore at PG?
The team had 43 points in 15:22 before Thidiot pulled the white-hot McDoug and left his boy Kirk at PG. You could just see the momentum and fire leave the team at that moment, and they scored 27 points over the next 20:38 (the end of the third quarter). Vinny Del Negro is looking pretty good right about now...

Thibs played McDermott for 5+ minutes in that 10 point quarter. It's not Thibs' fault he didn't make any baskets. He was 0-1 with 2 rebounds.
35 minutes for Niko. 22 minutes for Dougie. Closed the game out with Niko and Dougie. Kirk played only 13:30. The rookies are playing meaningful minutes. Kirk is not. Bulls lose.
The amazing Mirotic was 5-15. DunVP was 1-4. Brooks sucks as a starter, his terrible stats line was 9-17, 24 points, 4 assists. The Bulls were +5 with Gasol on the floor. He failed to make a double-double.
