We are 0-3 on the road. We play a team with a similar record. I saw some posts mocking Rudy Gay for shooting 4-13 the other night. He had 17 points, though. 17 on 13 shots is better than we get from Rose or Deng, our top 2 at FGA. Close to the 18 on 12 we get from Boozer.
Gay's the #1 scoring option on the Raptors. He's gotta shoot the damn ball. Every #1 option has inefficient nights...goes with the territory. My only problem with 4-13 is that 13 might be too low.
Boozer... meh... 14 points on 16 shots Hinrich 12 points on 11 shots But Jimmy 14 points on 7 shots. Awesome. Noah 18 on 10. Also awesome.

11-of-37 is what he shot against Houston, the second worst FGM-to-FGA on that volume of shots since the mid-80s, or something like that. http://www.basketball-reference.com...&c4comp=gt&c4val=&order_by=pts&order_by_asc=Y I'm not complaining. We need the L's.
But your link was for 36 FGAs so it didn't include Gay's errant effort. I think you wanted this: Link
FWIW, that was a double OT game in which his teammate Demar DeRozen shot 6-25, an even worse percentage and also on volume
''You give me 37 shots in a game, I'll have 60, 70,'' James said. ''I had 40 tonight on 18 shots. If I get 37 shots in a game, I'm going to put up 60. Easy.'' Thing is, the odds of seeing James shoot 37 times in a game - like Rudy Gay did earlier this week in setting the NBA high so far this season - are quite slim. His career-high is 36. He's only taken 30 or more shots twice since joining the Heat; both of those came in regular-season losses.
Derrick Rose sits as Bulls cruise to first road win of season Playing without Derrick Rose, the Chicago Bulls still cruised past the Toronto Raptors on Friday night. Their next game likely will be much more difficult, especially if their star point guard is unable to play again. Luol Deng had 19 points, Joakim Noah scored a season-high 18 and the Chicago Bulls overcame Rose's absence to beat Toronto 96-80 for their first road win of the season.
