Reid Denies Making Videotaped Claim that Obamacare Horror Stories Are 'Lies'

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) said Wednesday that, "I have never come to the floor, to my recollection, I've never said a word about examples that Republicans have given regarding ObamaCare and how it's not very good."

"Mr. President, the junior senator from Wyoming has come to the floor several times recently talking about the fact that examples that he and others Republicans have given dealing with ObamaCare, examples that are bad, I've called lies. Mr. President, that is simply untrue," Reid said.

 

If you thought the "I am not a witch" lady was a bad candidate, Harry Reid is worse. And I voted for him in 2006.

Of course, there will be some who support this nutcase.

 

He's busted by the video on YouTube. It made something of a news event at the time. He called a lot, millions in fact, of voters liars from the well of the seanate. C-SPAN recorded it just to prove you wrong.

Of course, Reid famously remarked in February that Obamacare horror stories were “lies,” “stories made up from whole cloth.” All the price increases, all the cancellations, all the website woes, all the coverage issues. All lies. All of them. Never mind that Reid’s own staff was working to assist various Obamacare victims at the time.

On Wednesday, Reid added to the name-calling by calling out a new class of liars: the Republicans who had criticized him for labeling Obamacare horror stories as lies. Reid denied he ever said that problems with the law were fiction.

“I have never come to the floor, to my recollection, and I never said a word about any of the examples that Republicans have given regarding Obamacare and how it’s not very good,” Reid said on the Senate floor.

It’s hard to see the strategic value of that line. Look for the video to turn up in multiple campaign ads when he runs for re-election in 2016.

 

Reid is the senate majority leader in the US senate. He wrote the ObamaCare bill.

People point to the weird candidates that republicans have run, but democrats elect their nut jobs. Reid isn't the only one. The vice president is as goofy as any republican nominated for any office.

 

Throw out the bum. Out with the old idiot, in with the new. Until people wise up and elect libertarians.

She was no worse than Reid, and it wouldn't be hard to be better than him.
