They were pretty much handed first place in the division even though their pitching didn't look too good on paper. Well now that the season is over a month old their pitching is performing even worse than they could've imagined. As a team their pitching has a 5.00 ERA and they're tied with the Brewers for the most runs given up in MLB. Good stuff from up in Boston. It goes to show that you're simply not going to win without any pitching.
Yeah with little to no pitching I don't know how the so-called experts predicted them to finish so high.
How about if you just calm down a bit? Redsox slipping into darkness along with their horrendous pitching staff and they WERE one of the "top favorites" ➡(12-1) Totally relevant and derserving of a mention. PLEASE STOP trying to influence others and implying something when there ISN'T. And while you're still reading this, I think it's clear to most who are willing to be frank, you are totally intolerant and are quick to personally insult those with different opinions than you who care to carry on a (usually waste of time) discussion with you unless "they" act accordingly and take your lead. Imo - unless the Redsox' SP makes a dramatic turnaround soon, it could be another last place after many had them picked to AT LEAST do considerably better than the Yanks.
