I’m all for one 6 year term for presidents. That way they have 6 years to get things done, rather than run for re-election during their first 4 years and then hope they get re-elected so they can actually do something productive in their second term. I also think U.S. Senators should get two 6 year terms maximum, while Representatives get two 2 year terms maximum. If nothing else it insures that there is regular turn over/new blood and that no politician can get too entrenched.
I’m open. I mean, if every Representative was like Paul Ryan, Greg Walden or Earl Blumenauer then I’d be on board with euthanizing them within their first two weeks in office..........otherwise, 4 years max, be it in two year or four year terms.

I think coalition governments are the way to go; it'd eliminate this two party thing that's slowing our progress down to a crawl.
If teachers had guns, schools wouldn't need student body elections. I wish Roosevelt were still President. They should get rid of term limits and death limits.

FUCK that. We need term limits for Congress, Governors, State Legislatures, the Supreme Court, any office higher than county or parish level...
I think they need to have term limits and more importantly....anybody running for office PERIOD need to have a complete vetting process...leave no ghosts in the closet for after the election....there should be no tax evaders, money launderers, pay for play sleazebags anywhere near our government...just make sure a presidential candidate has a perfect record....no paid off hookers, real estate scams, abuse of spouses, etc......we need to start with a house cleaning of just who the fuck can run for office before they can lie their way into an important job
