Seton Hall recruit Aquille Carr was arrested Friday morning on an assault charge, the Baltimore Sun reported, citing Baltimore police and court records. Carr was arrested on second degree assault and reckless endangerment charges, police confirmed to the Sun.
It's funny, because his nickname is "crime stopper." Seriously though, it wasn't just any assault, it was domestic assault. Apparently the guy beat up his girlfriend. Weird timing on this story too. I was just watching a Kevin Durant video where he was talking about how good Carr was, so I decided to google him, and the first thing that came up was this story. Can't speak to a kid's pro potential who is 5'7", but from the respect he's gotten around the game, he could have been a program changer for Seton Hall (assuming they'll take his scholarship away).
Apparently, when Carr was a sophomore in HS, he was offered a $750,000 a year contract with the same team that Brandon Jennings played for in Italy. He should probably still see if that stands. http://www.slamonline.com/online/ne...le-carr-offered-750000-pro-contract-overseas/
