An arbitrator could decide today to reduce the Eagles' suspension of Terrell Owens to one, or possibly two games, according to a Newsday report. The New York-area newspaper is also reporting that the Eagles could be ordered to reinstate the enigmatic wide receiver immediately. But that will not be the end of the story.Apparently, a league source familiar with the Eagles' situation said the team is ready to release Owens if he decides to return to the team and create a distraction. If Owens' suspension is reduced, he will be allowed to work out at the Eagles' facility. However the team has already made clear that it plans to deactivate him for the rest of the season upon his return.Newsday also said that if Owens is released, he would be subject to the league's waiver system, which would essentially make him available first to the teams with the worst records. http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/5108290
