Well yeah, except for the fact that aside from speed, Burress had two defining characteristics (hands/catching ability and awareness) that Edwards sorely lacks. Giants would be fools to trade a king's ransom for this guy. Why not sign Miles Austin or Ronald Curry (or Hank Baskett if someone hasn't already snatched him)? Both are servicable receivers, Curry put up solid numbers in the past what has been a miserable passing offense in Oakland, and Austin showed flashes playing behind three other guys in Dallas, and could be a low-cost steal.
