Is this guy any good? Another athletic swingman along with Wright and Green? Is this a sidewards trade

This will be the first test for those 2K9 "Living Rosters".

I don't know much about Shawne Williams, but interesting trade. Eddie Jones wasn't too effective last season from what I saw; he missed too many open shots and seemed to be completely out of it. I don't think much would of changed this season around, so I'm not upset he was dealt. His days as a good player seem to be long gone.

If Shawne can keep his head straight he might develop into the shooting guard Dallas needs. The Mavs gain more athleticism with this move and Shawne has a decent jumper. If Green and/or Shawne can breakout this year the Mavs will be right back in the mix. This is a crucial season for this team with a new head coach, all the off-season Josh Howard drama, and the question marks surrounding Dirk as the franchise player.

Carlisle likes him, let's hope we can trust his intuition.

Shawne is still a young kid with a bunch of potential. He's got plenty of ability to be a very good player, he just needs to get his head on straight.

Eddie Jones' days of being a good player seem to be behind him.
