11 episodes this year, 11 next year I believe. I can't wait for it!!! I'm also excited for The Shield, starting up in September, I believe.

Dude you got yourself into a GREAT show. IMO, it's right up there with The Wire. Wait until Season 5..fuckin' amazing.

Yes. The acting on the show is amazing. It's just, these actors, dedicate themselves to the series. They go to actual gang neighborhoods and film, they cast actual gang members...Shawn Ryan (the creator) just goes above and beyond dedication to this series. I'll shed a tear when it finishes up.
I watched the Shield up until the money train, I feel like it fell off after the strike team disbanded.

I felt like it was stupid after they disbanded but Anthony Anderson as Antwan Mitchell was pure genius. That season was decent, but season 5 was simply breath taking. IMO one of the best seasons of TV, ever. You should give those two seasons a try, if you haven't.

IMO one of the best seasons of TV, ever. You should give those two seasons a try, if you haven't.
I watched season 4. That was actually the last season I saw. I didn't see the season with Forest Whittaker. My dad still watches and keeps me updated from time to time, I didn't like when Lem got killed by Shane. That was a little too over the top. Also, whatever happened to the black guy who was on the strike team that Shane got in a fight with...I think his name was Tavon? Did they ever say what happened to him in the Hospital? Antwan Mitchell was awesome though, kudos to Anthony Anderson, great actor.
There are some rumors that Tavon comes back in Season 7...obviously something to do with Shane. As for Shane killing Lem...omg that pissed me off, Lem was my favorite. However, I don't think it was over the top. I looked at it as Shane trying to save the team, like Vic did when he killed Terry...however, Terry was never their friend, never a part of the team...Shane betrayed Lem and I hope Vic has his revenge.
I stand corrected. Denis Leary was on the Daily Show tonight, and he said starting June 24th, for 10 straight weeks, there will be a five-minute "mini-sode" every week. Season 5 will air March of 2009, according to him.
Yeah, I just read that the other day on a rescue me forum and I forgot to post it here. The writer's strike fucked everything up. The Shield in September!
