Retired players sue NFL union

    A group of retired players is suing the NFL Players Association, union president DeMaurice Smith, Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and former player Mike Vrabel over recently-negotiated retiree benefits, according to a report by Yahoo! Sports.

    The 28 players named in the federal class-action lawsuit filed in United States District Court in Minnesota include Hall of Famers Carl Eller, Chuck Bednarik, Dan Hampton, Mel Renfro and John Hannah, the website reported.
