Travel-weary Dillon Gee used borrowed spikes, a borrowed glove and Josh Thole's hitting in a new-look lineup to help the New York Mets end their longest losing streak in seven years.

Thole, hitting second for the first time this season, had two run-scoring singles, Gee came up from the minors to earn the win and the Mets beat the Atlanta Braves 3-2 on Sunday to end their seven-game losing streak.
